Crazy behavior

Nyquil makes me crazy.
I stayed at my parents' house last night because 1) I haven't had a good night's sleep in weeks, 2) they live 5 minutes from my office and I live an hour from my office, and 3) my mom make cashew chicken for dinner. So yesterday morning, I'm packing my overnight bag in a Nyquil haze. I packed for today's office wear my cute little brown and cream giraffe-print dress (never needs to be ironed, yay) and what I THOUGHT were my brown Mary Jane pumps.
No.
I packed one brown shoe and one purple.
What to do? What to do?
My mother's shoes are completely unacceptable for borrowing. She pretty much only has sneakers.
Can't go in barefoot. No shirt, no shoes, no service.
That left...
the brown sandals I keep in my car.
Yes, dear reader, I am wearing open toed shoes, and hanging my head in shame.
BUT! At least I am not wearing stockings. THAT is unforgivable.
