Halloweenies!

I'm gonna teach you a Halloween song from my childhood.

"Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said, OH MY it's getting late!
The second one said, There are witches in the air!
The third one said, Well we don't care!
The fourth one said, Let's run and run and run!
The fifth one said, Are you ready for some fun?
OOO-ooo went the wind and out went the lights
and the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight."

Add your own hand and arm movements.
Love. it.

What's grosser than gross?

Talking on your cell in a public bathroom.
Seriously, is it THAT important?
The answer is no.

Streams of conciousness

I want a caramel apple so bad right now.
I hate when customers don't just take my word for it.
I love thick knee socks. The main girl in Glee has the right idea with the skirts with knee socks. Adorable.
I still haven't mowed the lawn. Must do it this weekend.
Weis Ranch dressing is good.
I'm listening to a British guy on a conference call right now. Love British accents.
It's 2:43 and I still haven't gone to lunch.
I would really like to go to Sonoma CA for a wine tasting.

Need. Time. Change.

Super random today.

Everywhere around me, people are saying how very tired they are. Theory: we would have turned the clocks back this past week, but don't until 11/1, and our bodies need it to be back now. Or maybe because I changed my sheets last night and I LOVE sleeping in the freshy sheets. Forgot I had these, too. Found them in my linen closet. It's those little things...

How can men talk about baseball and football so much? I have mastered the art of tuning out at work. All men + me = bored out of my skull.

I miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Oh!
You now have my permission to wear boots.

The Dude

Five years ago today, I met the love of my life - I gave birth to the most beautiful little boy that ever was. Five years. Whoever said you fall in love right then and there was right. I can't imagine ever feeling the same way about anyone ever. My sweet baby. Where does the time go?

Remember my name!

Went to see FAME on Saturday. Meh.
Remakes stink.
It wasn't a shot-for-shot or anything, and I know originals are almost always better than remakes, but I had high hopes. Oh well. Not enough character development, and no iconic dancing-in-the-street scene. I KNOW.
On a good note, the music was good, the dancing was good. The character Denise, who sings "Fame", "Out Here on My Own", and a few others is fantastic. I hope she has a very lucrative career, cause that girl's got pipes.
Something great came out of it, though. We found a new place to see movies. The Newton Theatre has been renovated by the same guy who redid the Lafayette in Suffern and the theater in Teaneck, and is just lovely. Tickets are only $7 for any show, any day, any time. AND! There's an organ player, live, before the show. Love. It.
